Positive advertisements - usually occurs at the beginning of a campaign. The main goal for the campaign is to introduce or reintroduce a candidate by strengthening its positive image and qualities.

Positive Ads can also fix the image of little-known candidates, and establish the presence of the candidates for reelection.

OHIO, A KEY STATE

3rd National Market for political TV ads in 2012
The Swing States are states in which neither Republicans nor Democrats have a clear majority of voters before a
Presidential election. So they can "swing" the election results in one direction or another.

They are also known as "Battleground States", states or the battle is most fierce, because it is there that runs the majority of the campaign for both parties.

If states voting Republican are called "Red States" and those voting Democrates "Blue States", the Swing States such as Ohio are called "Purple States" in order to emphasize their mixed nature.

In those States, hundreds of millions of dollars have already been invested in negative advertisement campaigns by the Republican and Democrats but also by Super PACs supported by their 501C4.
